About the Section

The BPS Cognitive Section is a national forum for discussion of research and matters of concern to cognitive psychologists. Our membership comprises psychologists in industry, the health service and government departments, in addition to all colleges and universities. Their interests cover most aspects of cognitive psychology and related areas.

Membership gives you reduced registration fees at conferences and special workshops organised by the Section, including an annual conference. Recent activities have included conferences on reading and dyslexia, imagery, laterality, and student learning; and workshops on problem solving, hemisphericity, and mind and language.
